Ogden city is sponsoring an Ogden river clean up on the same day we are having our monthly meeting.  We have submitted to them that we as a chapter are going to help clean up the section from the mouth of the canyon to Harrison blvd.  It starts at 0900 in the morning and goes till 13:00 in the afternoon.  They will be having Hotdogs and drinks at the Lorin Farr Swimming pool concession stand at 13:00.  Hope we can have a good turn out for this.

We are having a fund raising, auction, and dinner on Thursday, May 20th . (Social hour 6:00 pm Dinner 7:00 pm). This will be held at the Timbermine Restaurant, 1701 Park Blvd., Ogden. Cost will be $30.00 per plate, with the cost per plate being kept low so all of the members can enjoy a great evening. However, donations in excess of $30.00/plate will gladly be accepted. We will be serving Steak or Halibut, with all the fixins.

We in joint effort are helping to raise $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 needed to restore a section of the Logan River system called Spawn Creek, and have a Water Flow study to performed on East Canyon Creek. We will be auctioning off some really great fly rods, reels, pontoon accessories, and much more. So join us this night of fun and eating, and meet some of your fellow Trout Unlimited partners. We have a fantastic group of members and we are meeting at least once a month. This Mays meeting will happen to be during the dinner and auction.

If you plan on attending, you will need to drop me a line either on my email (rprice1@softcom.net) or phone me for tickets at 801-941-0398. We have only set this up for 100 plates, so we need to have an RSVP. Public is welcome, so even if you think we have filled up, and I have an advance notice that we need more, I feel they will accommodate us. Our chapter is over 350 people strong, we should have no problem filling 100 seats!
