Mine Waste Cleanup On January 19, 2005, Chris Wood, TU Vice President for Conservation Programs, and Ted Fitzgerald, Manager of the American Fork Canyon Home Rivers Project, will make a presentation at Snowbird Resort to the National Ski Areas Association on TU’s groundbreaking efforts, in cooperation with Snowbird Resort and various federal agencies, to clean up abandoned mine waste in American Fork Canyon.
