Management of Provo River - Keith Denos, Provo Water Users Association

Salt Lake Fish and Game Association Meeting House

Keith Denos is the General Manager for the Provo River Water Users Association. In that role, he manages the flow through the Duchesne (tunnel) diversion, Weber River Diversion at Oakley, and the waters of the Provo River Watershed. Keith will discuss this years' anticipated water supply and how they will manage the Provo River. He will also be able to answer questions concerning the interrelated operations of Jordanelle and Deer Creek Reservoirs, including what flows may be anticipated this summer in the middle and lower Provo River. In the past, the Provo Water Users have not always been concerned managing the Provo River to benefit the environment and fishery. Keith has been very concerned about reversing this policy of the past.
